A smaller profile than lead for the same weight, sensitivity similar to tungsten, and a finesse hook sharp enough to be able to get a solid hookset on ultralight lines. Add in a wire bait keeper that doesn’t tear apart plastics like more aggressive keepers. A lot of benefits to using these jigheads, not the least of which is reducing the amount of toxic lead in our waterways. They have quickly become an essential and reliable bit of my kit.
